Curriculum
Paramount International Preschool is an XSEED school that follows the framework of the Uzbek State Program for Pre-Primary Education – “Ilk Kadam” or “First Step”. Our program is developed incorporating play, objective and inquiry-based learning.
Five key competency areas
of our School Program
Physical development
will focus on the formation of a healthy lifestyle and on the overall movement of the body, i.e.: gross and fine motor skills development, hand-eye coordination, posture, calculation and movement of the body – helping children to perform everyday activities and beyond.
Socio-Emotional skills
will focus on the concept of "I" or the Self, managing emotions of the Self and emotions with other children and people, socializing, communication with peers and adults,
and following the behavioral norms.
Language arts*
will focus on speech development,
vocabulary and language, reading skills, writing, and emphasize the acquirement of a second language.
cognitive development
will focus on reasoning, thinking and understanding. Children will learn questioning, spatial relationships, problem-solving, imitation, memory, number sense, classification, and symbolic play.
creative development
will focus on artistic vision of cultures, artistic and creative abilities including music and drama.
*We are an English preschool, introducing Russian as a second language at age three at no extra cost. Children who graduate from our preschool will be able to seamlessly pursue primary education in local as well as international schools.
